The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has incidentally suspended its activities at its “Tatipaka oil refinery” plant, situated at Konaseema area in East Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh, following flooding in the waterway Godavari.

The oil refinery has been immersed with four-feet rising water due to rupturing on a few bunds of Gowthami, Vashista and Vynatheya, which are parts of Godavari stream.
Attributable to the breaking of
bunds, a few streets in the Konaseema region also have been influenced.
“The four-feet immersion of the refinery isn’t the main legitimate purpose behind the impermanent conclusion of Tatipaka oil refinery plant, ONGC sources said.
“The organizations which are using the administrations of the refinery have no entrance to street as street transportation also has been influenced,” they included.
As per the sources, more labor had been sent to caution the circumstance in the plant.
