Hyundai Aura 2020 – bookings open

Hyundai AuraBooking of Hyundai Aura (Hyundai Motor India Limited) for Sub-Compact Sedan (Compact Sedan) Aura (Aura) has started. The Hyundai Aura will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. It can be booked for 10 thousand rupees through the company’s website or its dealership. The country’s second car manufacturer, introduced its new car on 19 December last year. Since then, there has been much discussion in the sub-compact sedan car segment.


Booking of Hyundai Aura starts, can book for 10 thousand rupees

Hyundai has started booking its upcoming new sub-compact sedan car. You can book Hyundai Aura at the company’s website or the nearest dealership for 10 thousand rupees. Hyundai introduced this new car in December 2019, while it will be launched on January 21. In the Aura market, cars like Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze are coming in competition.

Aura will come in three engine options and 12 variants. One is a 1.2-liter petrol with 82 bhp power, the second is a 1-liter turbo petrol with 99 bhp power and the third is a 1.2-liter diesel engine with 74 bhp power. The 1.2-liter petrol and diesel engine will get 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The 1-liter turbo petrol engine will get only a 5-speed manual gearbox. Its three engines will be BS6 compliant.

Tarun Garg, director (sales, marketing and service), said that the company is starting a new decade by booking Aura. “We are confident that  will establish its place in this category,” he said. Aura will be launched on January 21.

The Hyundai Aura sedan will come with three engine options and 12 variants. First up, will be a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s good for 83hp and 113Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Then there will be a CNG version too.  Additionally, the Aura will also get a 100hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that will be available with a sole 5-speed manual. As far as diesel goes, Hyundai will introduce a 1.2-litre powerplant that will deliver 75hp and 190Nm of torque, and will be paired to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.

The Aura’s front look is inspired by the Grand i10 Neos. Like the Neos, it also has integrated twin boomerang shape LED DRLs in the new grille and grille. The roofline of the car is largely coupe-car like, making it look quite sporty. The car gets a great-looking wrap-around tail lamps with 3D outer lens at the back.
